So, I went to water the outdoor plants and there was a HUGE SNAKE (HUGE) in the corner where the house and porch meet. It was evil. I know it was. Made more so by the fact that the back of it was UP the corner of the house. Kind of like it had come DOWN from INSIDE the wall. (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me that cannot be so. Because if it is, we will have to burn the house down and start over. I will NOT handle it well if a snake can get INSIDE MY HOUSE.) I was going to take a picture to show you what I was talking about, but in the time it took me to get the camera, it was GONE. So that means it is somewhere IN THE YARD. (PLEASE don't let it be INSIDE THE WALL.) And I am now TRAPPED inside the house. What's the point of having a husband if he's not here when you REALLY NEED HIM?
The bushes will sooooo NOT get trimmed today.
PS - Do not comment unless you are going to reassure me that a snake cannot get inside my house. I do not need to know otherwise. Especially when Hubby is not here to go on snake finding detail.

No. A snake isn't going to get in your wall. Can it do that? Nah. Everything's fine! It's long gone now... off down the street to terrorize somebody else.
(but I wouldn't bother with the bushes today.)
I'm sure he's across the street and down the hill in the woods. I'M SURE!!!! I'd send your dad over, but he's not here either. Maybe this should have been our Life is Good day. I'm also 75% sure he couldn't have gotten in the wall. Call dad's cell and ask him. Love you!
I am praying for you that God has long removed that snake and he is back out someplace far from your home.

I agree with Lyndsay ... a snake so evil that it scales the outdoor walls would want to terrorize as many people as possible so i bet that's JUST what it's doing ... to someone else!
If my Husband weren't such a pansy about snakes I would have sent him over with a ho (gardening tool that is, haha) to remove the SOB! I would have a panic attack that it could get into my house, too. I think the only way it would be even remotely possible for it to get into your house is if you had a septic tank. And you don't!! Do you?? You don't. Love you!
Oooooh, love the new blog design!
