you capture - silence

Halloween didn't really exist for us this year. As others were putting on costumes and getting ready to trick-or-treat, we were headed far away from everything.

For three days, it was quiet.

We spent our time outside. We were the only ones there.

It was beautiful.

It was calm.

Even in the short times we were inside, it was calm.

Words just weren't needed. Or necessary.

It was just time to breathe.

Time to see.

Time to be.

And that was everything we needed.

Love those pictures. It must have been peaceful...(and my green Longaberger mug is my favorite mug.)

Beautiful! Every shot looks so peaceful. And apparently you were so silent you captured a deer. ;)

I'm a little jealous. :) We usually take a mini-vacation to avoid the "creatures," as my middle child dibbed them years ago. This year, we weren't able to get away.

I love your shots - and I'm very jealous. It's been the opposite of quiet in our household this week, with five extra family members visiting.
